And as I mentioned... I got to see the new Applebee's building today. And this is where my new "cube" is supposed to be. (I wonder which chair is mine??) Hmph. Gotta love the respect that contractors get. (By the way... there are no power outlets along this wall. That should make things interesting on Monday.)

Today I leave the "old" Applebee's office for the last time. Tomorrow I get to see the new building... and Monday I officially start working at the new building.

Great Falls, Virginia... it's become tradition for us to visit the Falls whenever we visit Virginia. But I must make a special note: The Maryland side is the sunny side... The next time it's 40 degrees and we want to go to the Falls, we need to go to the Maryland side!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We spent the day playing in the trees and in the leaves...
(We had 52 bags of leaves after raking!)

We flew to Virginia to spend Thanksgiving at my grandfather's house this year. His house holds so many memories for me growing up... I can't even imagine the memories it holds for my mom and her brothers/sisters!

I didn't notice this until after I had uploaded the photo: The name plate on the light post. It's always been there and I've never really noticed it before. Wish I had gotten a better picture of it...

Actually, this balloon was a gift for me from some of my former coworkers, since my birthday is in two days. And even though I don't work with them anymore, they still think of me. I love those guys!
